Terms of use

The terms for using Waveroom – what you can expect and what you're responsible for.

Version 2026-10-10.

1. About Waveroom

Waveroom is a service for planning and promoting music releases. It is run on a non-profit basis by Martin Antonsson and is free to use. Contact: info@martinantonsson.com.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old. If you're under 18, you need permission from your parent or guardian.
  • The information you provide must be accurate, and you're responsible for keeping your password secret.

3. Your content

Music, images, texts and anything else you add is and remains yours. You give Waveroom the right to store and display the content to the extent needed for the service to work, for example in your press kit. You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload – for example that the photographer has approved the use of your press photos.

4. Sending in your name

Pitches and follow-ups are sent in your name, and you're responsible for their content and who you send them to. Send personal and relevant messages, follow recipients' own guidelines and respect a no. Mass mailings and spam are not allowed.

5. Personal data you add

When you add contacts and send pitches, you are the controller for that data, and Waveroom processes it on your behalf as a processor. Waveroom:

  • only processes the data to provide the service, in the way you use it,
  • keeps it confidential and protects it with appropriate security,
  • only uses the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy,
  • helps you respond to requests from the people the data is about, and
  • deletes the data when you delete your account.

5 b. Fan lists

Fans who sign up through your artist page are yours. You're responsible for using the list only for news from the artist, for removing anyone who asks, and for following the rules on email marketing when you send mailings from other tools.

6. AI texts

Suggestions written with AI can contain mistakes or phrasing that doesn't fit. Always read the text before you send it.

7. Advice and information

Guides, tips, campaign plans and the contact library are general advice, not legal or financial advice. Other services' rules, requirements and prices can change. Links to other services are not an endorsement of them. Contact details in the library have been checked but may have changed – check before larger mailings, and read agreements and fees carefully before going ahead with a service.

8. No guarantees

Waveroom is provided as is. There are no guarantees of reviews, playlist placements, replies or email delivery, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Backups are made, but keep your own copies of material that matters to you.

9. Liability

Waveroom is not liable for indirect damage, lost income, or how other services and recipients act. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory law gives you stronger rights.

10. Prohibited use

Waveroom may not be used for spam, illegal content, infringing others' rights, false information or attempts to get around security. Accounts used this way may be closed.

11. Donations

Donations are voluntary gifts with nothing given in return. They give no special rights in the service and are not tax-deductible. Payment is handled by PayPal.

12. Ending

You can delete your account at any time under My account. If Waveroom were ever shut down, this would be announced well in advance so you have time to download your data.

13. Changes

The terms may change. Significant changes are announced in Waveroom, and you'll be asked to accept them.

14. Governing law

Swedish law applies to these terms.
